The Last Dreamer

The nightmares are real.

They’ve always been real.

And it’s only a matter of time before I’m caught my the monsters that wait for me in the dark.

The Visitor from my dreams has a name too and Fallon Black isn’t entirely human. He didn’t need to say as much because the golden glow of his eyes say it all. When he tears Aaren and I away from the clutches of the Void and our home in San Diego, we arrive on The Liminal, a hidden planet full of refugee beings from the farthest reaches of space.

All of them rescued by beings that can touch the strings of reality called Phasers. But the ones that create the strings are the Dreamers.

And they’re all gone…

All except one.

It’s up to me now to stop running from the nightmares and learn how to use them to save the Cosmos from being swallowed whole.…

But I’m just— me.
